Highlights in old age

In this session I will review 4 papers covering the breadth of research in old age psychiatry over the last year. Papers will include ketamine use, links between mood disorders and atherosclerosis, as well as two high profile papers in dementia research. One of these papers caused significant controversy when it was published.

I will highlight the unique aspects of old age psychiatry and why high quality research in this patient group is so very important.
